The Youth Against Corruption (YAC) programme engaged Catholic youth from four countries – Ghana, Togo, Ivory Coast and Benin. This was at the Catholic Church’s West Africa Youth Days (WAYD) congregation at St. Theresa’s Catholic Church, Kaneshie.

The young leaders, many already serving in various church roles, embraced their responsibility as ambassadors of integrity and agents of change. Reflecting on the WAYD theme, “Sent to Witness”, participants echoed their calling not as silent observers, but as active witnesses who must take bold action against corruption. The Catholic youth strongly advocated for establishing YAC-like chapters in their respective countries, recognizing the urgent need for youth-driven anti-corruption movements across West Africa.

The interaction underscored a powerful message: Catholic youth across borders are ready to rise, unite, and lead the fight against corruption.
